Patricia Q. explains "Your Crowns Are Made While You Wait."
“Your Crowns Are Made
While You Wait.”
“I cannot get over how amazing the CEREC machine is. I have needed two crowns in my life. The first crown I had was done traditionally; the impression was made from a gooey gunk that sat on a hard tray. I had to keep the tray in my mouth for longer than I would have liked. It was incredibly uncomfortable and I had to wait two weeks for the actual crown to be made. It really felt like a nightmare. When I heard that I needed another crown, I was not excited. However upon research, I saw that Promenade Dentistry has the CEREC machine. I had to give it a try. There is no gunk and tray, they take the impression with a wand attached to a computer. Then, your crowns are made while you wait! Unbelievable! Thank you Promenade Dentistry!”

How does CEREC Technology Benefit Me?
The staff at Promenade Dentistry has vast knowledge and experience with CEREC technology and bio-friendly ceramic crowns. CEREC stands for Chairside Economical Restoration of Esthetic Ceramics. CEREC uses computer aided design to take quick and accurate impressions of teeth. The tech will use a wand over your teeth to take a digital impression of your teeth. This eliminates the need for the trays and impression goop and makes a more comfortable experience for the patient. The advanced Biojaw software fully analyzes the teeth, gums, jaw and mouth, providing a perfect impression. From there, the CEREC system will build you your restorative piece, virtually in minutes. With a traditional crown, you will need multiple visits to the dentist. With the CEREC process, you will only need to stop by the office once! But most importantly, CEREC uses just pressed ceramic material instead of the mixture of ceramic and metal that you will find with traditional crowns, thus eliminating any unneeded harmful materials. CEREC crowns are lab quality and typically last between 10-15 years, making them the best option for your needs. If you are in need of restorative dental work, there isn’t much that the CEREC machine can’t do. Give us a call today to set up a consultation and see how the CEREC machine can benefit you.
